Established - 2012
Truly Muslimah was established in 2012 by Ustazah Nur Atiqah Abdul Samat, who was encouraged by her husband to explore a side venture while embracing her role as a stay-at-home mom.
Initially, the brand focused on curating pre-ordered fashion items from China and Indonesia, offering a diverse range of dresses, kaftans, tops, bottoms, and more to cater to the stylish Muslimah community.
Co-Owner Joined
As the journey progressed, Ustazah Atiqah’s sister, Teacher Khairunnisa Abdul Samat, joined the venture as a co-owner, further solidifying their commitment to providing fashionable and modest wear.
Recognizing the growing need for Shariah-compliant hijabs, the duo pivoted the brand’s focus to create beautiful and versatile hijabs that resonate with Muslim women everywhere.
They became the official agents and wholesalers for several renowned hijab brands, establishing a strong market presence.
Today, Truly Muslimah stands proud as a creator of its own line of hijabs, embodying style, faith, and empowerment.
